Brushes for Antiques

As an alternative to high-gloss polishing, surfaces can be antiqued by applying silicon carbide or diamond brushes, available in grits from 36 to 500, to the machines. They are used after roughing or light bush-hammering, which accentuates the "antiqued" effect, i.e. giving an antique look to the surface.

The floor is shiny or semi-shiny depending on the finishing grain, as if covered by the veil of time.
